Elma, Curves Roseville
Elma a widow with a 12 year old son is the “Bread Winner” in her family. Some time ago Elma was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor. After going thru Chemo & Radiation, she was told it was still there. The removal of the tumor was her only chance for survival. She had the surgery and 99% was removed.
After spending a good year in hospitals across the country all that could be done was done. Elma joined a physical therapy class at a local college. They were wonderful and did everything possible.
Then along came “Curves” the answer to her prayers. She joined the club in Roseville California in 1998. Curves has helped her to keep walking and out of a wheel chair.

Valerie, Curves Lincoln
"I am 33, and I am a client at Curves for Women at Lincoln, CA. In May of 2002 I weighed 230 pounds, wore a size 20 pants and fitted into a XXXL shirt. I just woke up one morning and said to myself “I do not want to be big anymore”. For months I would drive by Curves and say to myself “I want to join”. I finally did. I joined Curves in May 2002 and like I said I weighed 230 pounds. I also joined Curves weight loss class for dieting. With the combination of working out 3 times a week and doing the Curves diet I have lost 65 pounds and 54 inches in about 7 months.
Curves is the best thing that I could have ever done for myself!"
