Good Health For Life Fitness Fashion Show Event:
Saturday, August 20, 2005 - We had a wonderful event! On Sat. We sponsored a fund raiser fashion show featuring Curves members as the models. The models were cancer survivors and we raised funds for Good Health For Life, an organization helping cancer survivors return to work. Check back for pictures from the event. |

American Heart Association:
Curves is a proud supporter of the American Heart Association and our goal is to raise $25,000 this year for the Sacramento chapter so that they can continue their work to educate women about good heart health.
In February, we will give a specially designed t-shirt in exchange for a $30 donation. Through March 6, if a prospective member brings in the coupon from the AHA Women Wellness Newsletter (see link below), we will donate $25 of the sign-up fee to the AHA.
We also support the AHA's CLUB W.E.L.L. and their next event will be April 28 at noon in Maxi's in the Doubletree Hotel. Cost is $20 and the guest speaker is Carol Bone. Annual Food Drive: March 7-12 were the dates of the annual Curves Food Drive. A membership special will be offered and current members can earn special gifts by donating a bag of groceries ( we ask for 20 pounds per bag or more!). Last year, the ILove Curves.net clubs donated over 30,000 pounds of food to local food banks. |
